How long does it take to get paired with a Personal Assistant?
We guarantee that we'll find you the right pairing within 60 days or we'll refund your initial fee. It does not always take this long (and usually doesn't) but there are many factors that go into finding you and your family the right fit including where you live, how many hours you're looking for, etc. We are extremely picky about who we let on the team and finding you the right fit as opposed to a quick fit is always preferable. Do you have any long term contracts? No. If you are unhappy with the service, please reach out — we are happy to address any issue that may come up. However, if it is unresolvable, we do not hold you to anything long term except for a 2 week cancellation policy. When will I get charged for my subscription? Clients get charged every Monday for all hours done the previous week, as tracked by your PA to the nearest 15 minutes. Don’t forget that the minimum is 4 hours per week and you will be charged for at least the minimum every week except if your PA is unable to perform your hours for any reason. In addition, our onsite minimum is 2 hour sessions. Will I always get the same personal assistant? Yes! Once you are paired with a personal assistant, they are yours for as long as you want or as long as they stay with the company. If they have to leave for whatever reason, we assign you a new one at no extra cost. The new personal assistant will shadow the old one for a day and will be invited to your Todoist Workspace to make sure your procedures and the high quality of care that you are used to are kept up with the new pairing. |
Can a personal assistant come when I’m not at my house?
Yes, as long as you are comfortable with it. In fact, most of our clients work with their personal assistant in this way. There’s no greater feeling than coming home after a long day of work to find all of your personal tasks finished! Is this an on-call service? No. We do not do on-call or one time visits. If you need a one time service, you are probably better off with a service like Task Rabbit, Instacart, or Rover. Can my PA do any other tasks besides the ones listed? Many of our PAs have backgrounds with many skills in addition to those listed in our services. If you have a task outside of the list, ask your assistant if they feel qualified to handle it. If they do not, they will be happy to research and locate someone for you to handle it. In addition, we have a list of service providers internally that we trust that we can always pull from. At this time we do not provide: child care services, transportation, landscaping, handyman services, or anything else that requires specialized knowledge or licensing to perform. |
If I am out of town will I still get charged the minimum?
Yes. Many of our clients still have projects that a PA can perform when they are gone. An example would be to meal prep freezer meals for when you return or work on a big organization project. You will receive a big list of ideas in your welcome packet of ideas for tasks a PA can do when you are on vacation. I love my Core Team PA, can I hire them directly or full time? We strive to find you the best fit possible and so this occasionally comes up. The answer is yes, provided your PA accepts. We require a buy out fee which is calculated based on a number of factors including how many hours you are currently doing and how many hours you are directly hiring them on for. Am I required to do a Home Plan Session? Yes, we have found in our many years of experience that even if you don’t think you need a session, it is immensely valuable and saves you a ton of time and headache upfront in coordinating logistics and communication upfront. Can I add extra hours over my weekly normal if I need extra help? Possibly. You can add extra hours any time, provided your personal assistant is available and will be billed at the normal rate. However we cannot guarantee their availability outside of the reserved weekly hours. |
