Everything you need to know about
​hiring a personal assistant. 

Do you have any long term contracts?  
No. If you are unhappy with the service, please reach out — we are happy to address any issue that may come up. However, if it is unresolvable, we do not hold you to anything long term and you will be able to cancel.
 
Can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription?  
Yes. You are encouraged to have a planning conversation with your PA every month to schedule. If something changes in your needs you are able to reach out to us and tweak that subscription.
 
When will I get charged for my subscription? 
Clients get charged for their chosen package of hours every month on the first of the month for the upcoming month. 
 
What happens if I end up needing extra hours outside of my monthly package? 
If your personal assistant is available to do the extra hours, then go for it! The extra hours will get tacked on to the next month’s bill and will be charged at your current package rate. 
 
What happens if I don’t use all of the hours I purchased? 
The hourly packages are considered “Use it or lose it” and any hours that you do not utilize in the month will not rollover or be reimbursed. However, if something happens that is out of your control (personal assistant is sick, weather, etc.) and the hours missed cannot be rescheduled within the month, we will apply those hours to your next month’s bill. 
 
How do I know I can trust my personal assistant?
All of our personal assistants are background checked, insured, and bonded. We work with each assistant one on one and train them personally before we start pairing them with clients. This is to ensure common mistakes are avoided and that they live up to our high standards of conduct. 
 
Will I always get the same personal assistant?
Yes! Once you are paired with a personal assistant, they are yours for as long as you want or as long as they stay with the company. If they have to leave for whatever reason, we assign you a new one at no extra cost. The new personal assistant will shadow the old one for a day or so to make sure your personal procedures and the high quality of care that you are used to are kept up with the new pairing. 
 
Can a personal assistant come when I’m not at my house?
Yes, as long as you are comfortable with it. In fact, most of our clients work with their personal assistant in this way. There’s no greater feeling than coming home after a long day of work to find all of your personal tasks finished! 
 
Isn’t a personal assistant just for celebrities or the ultra rich?
Yes, wealthy people and celebrities can certainly use a personal assistant. However, many of them have one, if not multiple, full-time assistants working for them. The great thing about our service is that you can get celebrity level service but only for as much as you need us — in a way that is affordable. The vast majority of our clients would certainly not classify themselves as ultra rich. They have a wide range of incomes and use us to varying degrees. The one thing they all have in common is that they are busy and know that the investment in our services improves their lives immensely.
 
How do I pay?  
Before you begin the services, we securely put your credit card on file using a trusted third party service. We charge that credit card monthly for your package hours and then any extra ones from the month before. As a client, you’ll have access to an online portal where you’ll be able to view all your invoices, see notes from your personal assistants about when they came and what they accomplished, and will be able to change your method of payment should you need to. 
 
Is this an on-call service?
No. We do not do on-call or one time visits. If you need a one time service, you are probably better off with a service like Task Rabbit, Instacart, or Rover. 
 
Is there a minimum?
Yes. We have a minimum of 6 hours per month (3 hours per session).
